Events fundraising is a fun and active way to support us. Over the years many people have raised money for us by organising or getting sponsored to take part in events. For example, Luc Beckers and friends from the Triathlon Club Bocholt Belgium hosted a triathlon recently and raised a fantastic £1063.88!

Many of our supporters have raised money throughsporting events such as this, including marathons or cycle rides but events don't need to be so energetic! Our supporters have also hosted picnics, concerts and parties, raising money and awareness. We have also had a few people raising money at funerals or weddings by asking for donations instead of buying flowers or wedding gifts. Whereas flowers only last a short time, the children's smiles go on living in memory of a friend or loved one.

Current events...

Two young Australian lads, Rian & Dylan, are at this moment cycling from Banda Aceh to Bali spreading awareness and raising funds for The Children of Sumatra.
